A pagan holiday of Samhain* (Celtic New Year's Eve; in Gaelic) or Hallowe'en
(All Hallow's Eve) – how it was being celebrated, in the tradition of the ancient
Celts (N.B. the Boii, a pre-Christian Celtic tribe, lived in what we now know as
Bohemia**, Moravia and western Slovakia; in Transalpine Gaul, modern France;
and Cisalpine Gaul, northern Italy), at ABC Music Primary School:
a video-recording of a live broadcast by the Nova TV channel
- format ZIP (7.9 MB) - save on your hard-disk, open (unzip) and

- format AVI (8.5 MB) - Windows Media Player - codec DivX 5.11 +
* Samhain is pronounced (depending on where you are from) as
'sow-in' (in Ireland), or 'sow-een' (in Wales), or 'sav-en' (in Scotland).
** The European region of Bohemia most likely derives its name
from the early Celtic people known as the Boii.
